Cindy Green
Assistant Superintendent of Strategy and Innovation
- Administrators led by Green support “anti-racism” programming that promotes ideas such as dismantling a so-called “white supremacist culture” in schools.
- Claimed in a video that the school had too many programs that “centered whiteness.” She worked with teacher to find out where resources were “uplifting whiteness” and to replace those resources to center it around students of color. Encouraged having conversations with students about a “white centered approach” and what that meant and how to replace it.
- Led the implementation of “equitable” grading practices that prohibits giving zeroes for work not done (establishes a minimum grade of 50% even if no work is done)—inflating achievement.
